Cafe L'Oustal

We had lunch here on a Monday afternoon. It was very crowded, so you needed a bit of patience for the service, which was very friendly. They immediately offered some water for our dog. We ordered the Burger, which was great. Big piece of meat, well cooked, well seasoned, tasty sauce, lettuce and cheddar on it. Bun was tasty and crisp. Accompanying fries very nice. Pricing is fine, a cold 1 liter bottle of sparkling water for 5 euro is great. No more room for desert, but coffee was very nice. Friendly service and relaxed atmosphere. Plenty of shade. Will certainly visit again when in Uzès

Strolling through the square we came to this vibrant restaurant. The meal was delicious with plenty of options to choose from. As always in France, the dining experience does not disappoint. The staff are polite and helpful with tourists and were happy to translate some dishes to assist in our choice.

Here again on a sunny nice Saturday Oct 2024 - the waiter has been a pain in the face . While we were three people and a dog being advised by a waiter to sit at a small four chair table another waiter plays us, arrogant and angry why we were sitting here and not at a three chair table, a very unpleasant experience. Will have visited the place for the last time. In Oct 2023 had Dinner here, again after a year, and we had again quality tasty dishes with a very good wine from the region. Everything felt and tasted freshly prepared. Raphael, the waiter was a delight and we will like to come back.

Very pleasant café at the Place aux Herbes in the heart of Uzès. The trees provide a very welcoming shade protecting you from the very strong summer sun. What's better than a good coffee with a croissant when you have finished your early shopping at the local market ?

Plats du jour excellent 3 nights in a row! Friendly service. Most beautiful leafy square we know of.
